Books Two and Three are coming out this year! They have been a long-time-in-the-making, but we are finally in the final editing stages of The Hidden Gates and will move on to The Lost Path directly after. 

BIG NEWS: My publisher has informed me that if the series does well, they will publish a 5th book in the LightBridge Series, which I have already outlined. The working title is: THE SHADOW WITHIN and I have written the first three chapters, but I'm holding off finishing it until the verdict is in.

I do a little composite collage for every book I write, to inspire me during the creation process. I search the web for images that have the 'feel' of the book and  characters and then throw them together in photoshop. So this is not really a picture of the main character, Secret, but it is close enough for now.  ◕‿◕

The Dragonbond Books​
My next series!
An orphaned Elser named Secret will soon learn where he is from and finally become who he is destined to be, but no one must ever know.

The Dragonbond Books will tell the tale of an infant boy who is dropped at the front door of a 200-year-old library in Boston and raised by the head Librarian who lives in a basement apartment below the stacks. On the boy’s 9th birthday, per his parents request left in a note, she gives him the few items his parents bequeathed him, hidden in the bassinet that cradled him; an ancient book of unknown origin, a very old leather & feather quill,  a rough-spun cloak with an ornately odd cloak-pin, and a peculiar looking, slightly rounded, speckle-spotted “rock” that, three months later… yep, you guessed it, hatches into a baby dragon. With each new passing day, the boy begins to understand the archaic language of the mysterious book and learns that he is the last remaining descendant of an ancient lineage called The Dragonbond Tribe and can, therefore, speak with and bond with dragons or rather, one particular dragon. And as you know, or may have guessed, everything changes when you have a dragon in your life. All manner of mischief and mayhem ensues.

Author’s Note: I’ve always wanted to write a dragon book! I’ve been waiting a very long time for the right tale to emerge (spiky dragon tail), and finally, it has bubbled up to the surface from the depths of my inner creative well. I am having so much fun writing it, that every morning I wake and can’t wait for the end of the day when I crawl into bed–my room dark but for a single dim light to illuminate my keys– and write for a few hours before falling asleep and dreaming of… you guess it… dragons!

The Dragonbond Books will be launched initially as eBook only by my own shiny new publishing company, Cloud Chaser Books, and will be episodic (one adventure a month is my goal). I may sell the paperback rights to a larger publishing company later on down the line, but for now, I am looking forward to the control self-publishing affords. ツ
